Walking through Downtown Raleigh on June 10th I was able to capture some images of the construction progress at 400H.
Location
The project takes up the entire 400 block of Hillsborough street, bounded by Hillsborough Street on the south, Edenton Street to the north, Harrington Street to the east, and West Street to the west.
State of Construction
The contractor is currently on the 6th of 20 stories of vertical construction. The site is quite active with teams setting forms and pouring the cast-in-place construction There is also a large red tower crane soaring above the site, which was one of the first vertical elements set in place. The tower crane will remain until the building is topped out.
Because of the height of this tower and the fact that it fills almost the entire site, the project density is quite high.
