Tenant Spotlight: Two Roosters Lake Boone Trail

If you have read any of the Top Five newsletters from the past few years, it should be no surprise to you that I love Two Roosters Ice Cream!

Two Roosters offers a line-up of “Forever Flavors” plus a rotating “Guest Flavor” series that changes every month. My guilty pleasure during the past two years has been to get every guest flavor at least once.

They currently have four locations and for the past few months the newest (and closest to my house) location has been closed for renovations.

Their locations are:

  • Greystone Village – 7713 Lead Mine Rd., Raleigh, NC
  • Person Street – 215 E Franklin St., Raleigh, NC
  • Lake Boone Trail – 4025 Lake Boone Trail, Raleigh, NC
  • Golden Belt – 800 Taylor St., Durham, NC

As you can see in the photos below, the renovation was worth the wait. Their new interior now matches the decor of the other stores and is much more “on brand”. They have a service counter, merch area, dine-in area (with a huge mural by Morgan Cook, a local artist), and even an ice cream churning stationary bike!

Located at Marketplace at Lake Boone, this location also has a substantial outdoor seating area that is shared by all tenants.

If you’ve never had their ice cream you should go immediately, you won’t be disappointed. If you are in the West Raleigh area, stop into the new and improved store today!
