This was taken at 11:45AM. Seems like some vastly underutilized space…

Lots to see and do on The Main Drag

Walking around during the middle of the day, there was good activity, but honestly not as much hustle and bustle as I expected. There were people out, but not many. Maybe I was early, but given the awesome weather, I expected more.

I can’t really say why, but I do like the juxtaposition of new and old storefronts we see downtown. Even when they aren’t “Architecturally Significant”

I have spent a decent amount of time on Fayetteville street, but this is the first time I have traversed from one end to the other (and back again). I was pleased with how many things I was able to see for the first time, and optimistic that the rest of this journey will carry on in similar fashion. Let me know if you want to join!

Keep an eye on Instagram and Twitter for future shenanigans. I will also update this article as I complete segments.
