Fiction Coffee is on the ground floor of the new Crabtree Terrace office building near the northwest corner of Creedmoor Road and Glenwood Avenue. The shop is on the ground floor, below Spaces, tucked away from the street.
As one of the more famous Raleigh Establishments, a lot has been said about Char-Grill. Recently a coworker came to town and said they were going to Char-Grill for lunch. Given that I had never been before, I asked if I could tag along. A few days later I found myself walking up to the original location on Hillsborough street for my first time. On August 22, 2022 Allison and Carl Vick opened the Little Blue Bakehouse at 2116-H New Bern Avenue. The Bakehouse is a first of its kind incubator for treat making entrepreneurs here in Raleigh.
The store is five shops in one with shared retail space in front and shared production space in the back.

421 N. Harrington St is a nine story Class A office building with 225,000 rentable square feet of space. The building is eight stories of office on top of the ground floor level which includes retail and the office lobby.
While Cary has been on the same growth trajectory as the rest of the Triangle, historically most of that growth has happened in the suburban areas of Town. Over the last few years, however, the Downtown core has seen an exciting number of new projects delivered and currently under construction. On a recent fall day (October 12, 2022) I took a stroll through downtown after parking my car at the new Town of Cary Library Parking Deck. On October 18, 2022 The Research Triangle Park Foundation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for The Horseshoe, the first phase of vertical construction at Hub RTP. This was the first event where I brought The Pole-Cam and it came in handy!
Earlier this summer I had the chance to check out some of the recent redevelopment happening at Glen Lennox in Chapel Hill. Grubb Properties has completed two projects and is in progress on a third.
The area along 440 from Six Forks Road and Wake Forest Road currently has more active development than any other area during my time here in the Triangle. There are eight major projects led by four different development teams, and at the time of this writing, four tower cranes.
